BRAS-II Packer

Large-opening, compression-set packer is BRAS-II Packers. This packer uses upper and lower mechanical slips together with a three-element packing system to handle high pressure from both the directions. Simple mechanisam of a drag block system and a J-slot are included. To enhance retrievability, this packer features an integrated unloader that moves over the mechanical hold-down slides. When pressure is higher than the set packer, the unloader’s pressure compensating piston keeps it closed.

The right-hand auto set with straight pick-up release J-slot configuration is the norm for the BRAS-II Packer. Further J-slot configurations are available upon request as of left-hand auto set, left-hand manual set, and right-hand manual set. Straight pick-up release arrangements are applied to all J-slot configurations.
